What else can i say about DOS guitars other than they are amazing. This guitar is a joy to play, i just can't put it down and when combined with the Tesla pickups this guitar packs a friggin' wallop! Any guitar player looking for a great deal on top of the line guitars should see my man Mikey immediately! I am proud to play Dot On Shaft guitars and finally be a part of the family. Can't wait to take it to the stage!

As a rookie in the guitar playing world, I was a bit sceptical about buying a newer solid body electric. The guitar I had, was ok, it was only $200. My grandfather took me over to the states where they were selling Gibson's for discount prices because the mall was closing. My dad told me about DOS, because of the advertisements on the radio, so we decided to go to the Woodbridge store.
I was still sceptical when I first walked in. From the quality of these guitars, I was expecting huge pricetags! I was pleasantly surprised to see that all guitars ranged in prices that I imagined anybody would be looking for (with quality EVERYONE wants). So in only a few minutes I had gone from being sceptical to damn sure I was going to buy something from this store. I was like a kid in a candy store. So many guitars on display, and I wanted to play them all! However, after playing a few guitars I still wasn't sure what I was looking for. One of the workers there, Derek, helped me out with trying to make a decision. Then I remember someone saying they got a new shipment of Paradigms (and with a cool name like that, I wanted to take a look). They opened the box, and my heart stopped. The gorgeous quilted maple top with a quilted maple neck! I played it, and was completely taken. The search was over. Then, I was offered the Carparelli pickups... I accepted, and was it ever worth it! The guitar was taken to a complete other level. The sound was amazing. I ended up buying the Paradigm (hot out of the packaging, mind you), a Behringer amp, and a set of the Snap-Jack cables. All with a deal I couldn't refuse. Thanks to Mike for making such amazing guitars, and thanks to Derek and JP for such wonderful customer service. -Des B

Mikey Mike! Just dropping a quicky to tell you that I absolutely love my new Carparelli S3 LP style. This thing is tone deluxe brutha! I can't get over how beefy the stock bridge pickups are. I love them to death. This thing sounds so smooth with sustain that will go on for days. I can really see the improvement in the neck over the S2. The heel is so comfortable playing above the 12th fret it's almost dreamy. Considering I'm a lefty you have spoiled me with the finest guitar I've ever owned. I love it so much I even printed out the S2 wallpaper and put it in my mini studio. Tell your web guy to make one up for the new S3's, especially in left handed! I love the new locking tuning heads. I havn't had to even touch the tuning in over a week and I've been playing it everyday. This is a real winner Mike. Save me one more, I'll make room for another! Warmest Regards, Edward H. Hi, Mike! Happy new year! Time for a late Christmas card, with - finally - the photo I promised you. I wouldn't say I'm some kind of Santa Claus, that role fits you a lot better, since you sold me this great double neck. I couldn't possibly add anything that your other customers haven't written already. But I would like to stress that it's a wonderful instrument in every respect - sound, playability, workmanship and general feeling. It's definitely up there with the best known brands, qualitywise, but luckily not moneywise. And it's growing on you; the more you play it, the more you love it. Have a great 2009! Hi Mike. I just wanted to send a quick thank you for the guitar you helped me with for myself and my daughters. Being a relative newbie I did some looking around at some of your competitors before I found your website. I had a price range and an idea of what I wanted so I took the short trip to your store. Boy was I impressed. One look inside your ‘emporium’ and I knew that all of your guitars were above grade and extra special. After looking at some of the bigger stores in the Toronto area I found out that I would end up with something pretty plain jane for my budget. What I ended up by spending a few extra minutes and visiting Dot On Shaft is nothing short of a masterpiece. This guitar not only looks beautiful but sounds beautiful (even though I’m learning the basics it still sounds good to me) and my kids couldn’t be happier having the coolest looking guitar amongst all of their friends. Thanks for spending the time with me to explain all the little details of what to look for in a guitar and amp for the first time buyer. I really appreciated the one on one effort you put in and the rest of your staff are really great. The Dot On Shaft Spalted Maple has become my #1 guitar, and I'm loving playing it! It is a show-stopper for sure - at every show I play, it never fails that someone will come up and ask me what that cool guitar is! And of course, I send them straight to your web site...
There have only been a precious few guitars that I've ever owned that I could say fit me like a glove, and this guitar is one of them. Thanks so much!

I had a good laugh when he told me what DOT meant in Norwegian Slang. Hello again, Mike.! As you can see, Norwegians only play DOS guitars.:-)) My brother is not the best photographer:), and I will try to send you some better pics the next few days..
