"I couldn't stop looking at the guitar it's stunning and then I couldn't get enough of playing it, I totally love the feel and way more comfortable to play than most of the guitars in my collection!" - JP (littleSUNDAY)

Toronto rockers littleSUNDAY have released their second full-length album Wait For Tomorrow (street date: October 23, 2007) featuring eleven tight tracks. This recording is the follow-up to their alt-pop EP Cross The Line (2006) and heavier edged debut album Day of Hollow (2003...). Recording Memoirs - littleSUNDAY's "wait for tomorrow Posted by littleSUNDAY on Sep 26, 2007 Recording Memoirs - littleSUNDAY's "wait for tomorrow" Hey everyone - It's been weeks of blood sweat and tears, but we've finally gotten our butts out of the studio... We had almost forgotten how nice is is to see daylight We've been working very hard recording our newest album titled, "wait for tomorrow," and things are sounding really cool. Before I get started, let me establish the characters in this story: we have myself of course, JP, Eric, Mario, Dom, Justin, and Paul. The first few days were drooling hours of recording that involved endless takes and re-takes of songs in an attempt to capture the essence of Eric's drums and the band's live feel. We worked very diligently in getting all 13 drums tracks completed in 2 days. Eric kicked ass!! Both Dom and Justin were very satisfied with the performances and were looking forward to moving on to the next phase of recording: laying down the guitars!!! The next few days consisted of inside jokes, and a massive wall of guitar cabs and amps .... man what a wall of guitar amps!!!!!! We had Marshalls, Tech21s, Mesa Boogies, Orange Cabs,, you name it: we had it all to our disposal.... JP's tongue fell to the ground and he began salivating with excitement! Was it the gear or could it have been the delicious wings that were brought to us by our close pals at the Rooster? Greg - YOU ROCK!!!! We ate like kings and felt like cows:-) Oh yeah where was I, the cabs right.. well we finally got some great sounds out of the millions of amps available, and then we broke out the guitars.. or shall I say GUITAR!! You see, I used to believe in changing guitars to capture different sounds,,, until I plugged in my DotOnShaft baby!!! Let's just say I held on to "my sweetheart" the entire recording of my guitar tracks.. Joe of course, was ready to break our his Carparelli and start whaling too!!! It was a guitarist's dream: gear, pedals, guitars and of course the tunes!!! Things were slowly coming together by the tail end of the first week ... Justin and Dom were working like a well- oiled machine: and Joe and I were sweating buckets trying to keep up with them!!! The following week we started on vocals: oh shit! It's time for Rick and JP to lay off the cigs: or not:-) We went in there larynx blazing, attempting to capture the true sound of littleSUNDAY's live appeal... (not sure what that is, but we hear it a lot)! During this phase, we worked 12 hour days with little or no rest: thank God for Toppers Pizza!!! Paul would stop in every night and fill up our blood stream with a selection of Tim's coffee or cold beer!!! Dave would make an appearance an provide some good advice and comic relief.. speaking of relief - thanks for the 'seat' Dave!! IN thise time, we found new melodies, lyric edits(sorry about that JP), met Howie B(YOU ROCK), and continued to push for the next few days...... We took one night off on Wednesday to perform at Cravefest down at club Revival: played a killer set, recorded our performance, did an interview and drank beer - a lot of beer. Vee popped in to say hello and that made our evening!!! By the way when I say "killer" I mean we were killed from the long hours of recording: this show literally killed us:-) Time for bass. Mario came into the recording sessions with the power of Spector on his side! He worked hard wiht Justin getting the groove on and things moved very well for him too... Now we are in the next phase of the record: mixing - now it's up to the dynamic duo of both Justin and Dom to tighten the notes and do this and do that - until the album is ready for mastering.. DId I mention mastering.... well it's not over yet........ Can't wait for tomorrow?? cheers

What do you call the most unorthodox mix of jazz, rock, blues and funky grooves? Most people wouldn't know the answer and there in lies most of the fun. Of course we are talking about fusion and for The Doron Zor Band fusion is more than musical expression. Fusion is a lifestyle.

  Suzie McNeil
"The best thing about the team at DOS guitars is that they care... they care about musicians, they care about their quality of guitars, and they care about their customers. Making musical instruments is an art form; and they understand that. My DOS acoustic is truely beautiful, I love to look at it, and more importantly I love to play it!!!!"

Throughout the years Suzie has compiled an impressive record of musical accomplishments. These have ranged from live shows beside some of North America's top acts (Alan Frew, Ronnie Hawkins, Jeff Healey, Dave Navarro, P!nk, INXS), to consummate professionalism tracking in the studio (Nick Lachey, Jesse McCartney), to commercial jingles, to performing in front of crowds of up to 200,000 people.   Gene Scarpelli
" I love my Dot On Shaft Carparelli Guitar and my new DoubleNeck Twin Dragon! "
Scarparelli!

[Open Photo Gallery]

S.G.P. was formed by lead guitarist/songwriter Gene Scarpelli, whose family name is a very recognizable one. He is the son of Gino Scarpelli, the lead guitarist of Canadian rock icons Goddo. Being the child of one of the most influential guitarists in Canada, some would say that these are big shoes to fill! However, without a doubt, Gene delivers! With notable credits to his name, Gene has worked with some of the best musicians and projects of the past and present. Most recently he was involved with Toronto based rock/heavy metal act Revolver, which had domestic and international releases of its first album “Turbulence”. Perhaps, tagged onto his family name, the following quote from a media write up about Gene’s guitar playing sums up the logical choice of name for his band: “…it is definitely in the genes…”… and SCARPELLI GENE POOL was born. Gene states “I want my cake and to eat it too. I was very fortunate to find, in my opinion, the finest musicians, but most of all, the best of friends to work with. We all know that chemistry goes a long way”.
